Campus Visits

Campus tours are an essential part of the college selection process. Our students will have the opportunity to have a cursory look at what each university has to offer academically, and a better understanding of what campus life is really like.

FAMU FALL PREVIEW is hosted by the Division of Student Affairs. The purpose of this program is to provide an opportunity for prospective students to learn about FAMU's outstanding degrees & programs, meet with faculty, administrators, current students, & to tour the beautiful campus. After the tour, we cheer on the FAMU Rattlers football team in their game in Bragg Stadium. (Tallahassee, Florida)

Students have the opportunity to learn about FSU Academics & Student Life on a walking tour seeing, first hand, residence halls, academic facilities, student life areas, & more. After the tour, we cheer on the FSU Seminoles football team in their game in Doak Campbell stadium. (Tallahassee, Florida)

 

Students can explore the academics, living options, social life, and extracurricular opportunities at FSU Panama City through this engaging walking tour.

 

Students are amazed by everything UWF has to offer. With its stunning waterfront property, outstanding academics, modern residence halls, vibrant social life, and endless opportunities, the campus truly stands out. 

Trojan Day is Troy University's Preview Day in which students will visit & learn more about the opportunities at TROY University. During Trojan Day, students have the opportunity to learn Academics & Student Life from faculty & student leaders during our browse session in the Trojan Arena. Following the sessions, you will learn more about Admissions, Scholarships, and Housing in the Admissions Presentation. Trojan Ambassadors will lead students on a walking campus tour showing residence halls, academic facilities, student life areas, & more. After the tour we will cheer on the TROY Trojan football team in their game in Veteran's Memorial Stadium. (Troy, Alabama)

Workshops

The SSS Orientation Workshop is held each year to familiarize new students as well as update current students on requirements & expectations for the SSS program, including upcoming events dates for the current school year

Transfer Day is an informative experience for students who plan to continue their education beyond their AA degree. During our Annual College Transfer Day, students may visit with university and college representatives from such schools as Troy, FSU, UWF, FAMU, UF, Auburn, 91ÖÆƬ³§'s Baccalaureate programs, and more.

Representatives from the Department of Education, 91ÖÆƬ³§ Financial Aid, & Foundation gave financial aid information and assisted SSS students in completing their FAFSA at the Financial Aid and Scholarship Workshop.

Community Service

The annual TRiO Celebration and Night of Service is held at the Milton Johnson Center. TRiO members volunteer in the concession stand during the 91ÖÆƬ³§ basketball game to support the Association of Florida Colleges scholarship program.


 

TRiO Society partnered with the Florida Caverns State Park in volunteering to help with their Haunted Hayride. We are looking forward to coming together as a group in many more events!

 

Campus Events

 

Club Day is a day where students learn about each club on campus. Each booth tells a unique story of opportunities and fun. Dive into the vibrant campus life and discover your passion with TRiO society! 

  

TRiO Society hosts Tennis and Pickleball Tuesdays, inviting all students to join in for an active, fun-filled evening. It is a great way to meet people, get moving, and enjoy some friendly competition in a relaxed environment. All students are welcome, regardless of skill level! 

 

 Homecoming vibes at 91ÖÆƬ³§ are unmatched! TRiO Society proudly stands out with numerous Homecoming court attendant wins- a testament to the incredible spirit and participation. Join us in celebrating the victories and making memories together!

The TRiO Society participates in the annual Trunk or Treat event at 91ÖÆƬ³§ by decorating and handing out candy to the community. TRiO Society is always creating a festive and engaging experience for everyone.
