91ÖÆƬ³§ Softball Participates in Read Across America Week
The 91ÖÆƬ³§ Lady Indians Softball team recently visited Cottondale Elementary School as part of Dr. Seuss Read Across America Week, reading to students and encouraging a love of literacy.
“This was a great opportunity for our players to give back and make a positive impact on young students,” said 91ÖÆƬ³§ head softball coach Kelly Brookins.
The Lady Indians have continued their season with recent wins over Lansing Community College and Volunteer State Community College. 91ÖÆƬ³§ will return to action at home on Monday, March 23, hosting Lurleen B. Wallace Community College in a doubleheader at 4 p.m., followed by a Wednesday, March 25 matchup against Northwest Florida State College at 4 p.m.
