91ÖÆÆ¬³§ Recognizes Student Achievement at Annual Awards Night

Chipola recognized student achievement during its annual Awards Night held April 23, honoring students for excellence in academics, scholarships, leadership, workforce training, athletics, and service.
Scholarship recipients included Kymiah Booth, Florida A&M University Scholarship; and Florida State University Panama City Scholarship recipients Rebekah Blanchette, Jaden Brown, Gavin Creel, Chlowensy Douceur, Ryan Law, John Lawson, Isaiah Markham, Ceianna Mayo, William Shores, and Dylan Toole. Ceianna Mayo also received the Dr. Robert E. Ringer Science Scholarship. Smallwood Family Scholarships were awarded to Taylor Melvin and Stacy Reed in Education; Hayden Revels and Simeon Wynn in Business; and Brittany Dawson and Dusty Harris in Nursing.
Academic awards were presented across multiple disciplines. Nursing awards went to Meredith Alford (LPN) and Kalysia Wynn (ADN). In English, Tyler Southworth (Freshman, not pictured) and Taylor Arunakul (Sophomore) were recognized. Mathematics awards went to Ellie Peddie (Calculus I and General Chemistry), William Anderson and Ceianna Mayo (Calculus II), and Waylon Davis (Calculus III). Science and health awards went to Dahlia Ganz (Biology, not pictured), Ellie Peddie (General Chemistry), Heather Mears (Organic Chemistry), Dakota Hamil and Macey Barber (Health Sciences), and Katelyn Young (Social and Behavioral Sciences). Business and technology awards went to Katelyn Young (Accounting AA/AS), Nicolas Pete (Accounting BS/BA), Simeon Wynn (Business AA/AS), John Carroll (Computer Science AS), Connor Laing (CCC), and Daniel Stoutamire (Management BS/BA).
Workforce development awards were presented to Tucker Banks (Automotive Service Technology), Dylan Sasnett (Building Construction Technology), David Jennings (Corrections), Chelsea Hill (Cosmetology), Devon Gilley (Electricity), Steven Lemons (Fire Academy), Jaushua Gillis (HVAC/R, not pictured), Wesley Tharpe (Law Enforcement), Alec Basford and Devin Smith (Plumbing), and Alexandria Mandrekas and Hunter Cadwell (Welding Technology).
Additional honors included Ian Hatcher for Brain Bowl recognition; athletic awards to Paris Rodgers (Scholar-Athlete) and Taylor Rietveld (Neal Sportsmanship Award); service awards to Meri Mock (Administrator), Kathy Hinson (Career), Linda Morales (Faculty, not pictured), and Bill Chomos (Professional, not pictured); and leadership awards to Jaylon Smith (Black Student Union), Logan Cook, Caden Kearns, Gavin Braddy, Quinton Chavers, Erika Young, Charlize Reyes, Emma Shelton, Samuel Keel, and Trevor Shelton (Fine Arts), Charlize Reyes and Caden Kearns (Outstanding Emerging Actor), Trevor Shelton (Winford E.
