91ÖÆƬ³§ Brain Bowl Wins NAQT Tournament
The 91ÖÆƬ³§ Brain Bowl team won the NAQT Florida Community College Sectional Championship Tournament this past weekend (Jan. 24-26, 2025) at Santa Fe College in Gainesville. The team finished 10-0 in the round robin format. Winning the tournament gives 91ÖÆƬ³§ an automatic bid to the Community College National Championship to be held in Chicago, IL on February 28 through March 1. 91ÖÆƬ³§ will arrive at the tournament as the defending champions. 91ÖÆƬ³§ has won four national championships and 12 Florida State Championships.
91ÖÆƬ³§ will host the Panhandle Regional in 2 weeks on February 8th. Feel free to come watch and support the team. The tournament will start at 10:00 am in the Literature/Language Building.
91ÖÆƬ³§ team members this year are: Devin Tharp, Jeremy Scurlock, Cade Foxworth, and John Maupin. All four players placed in the top 20 in individual scoring at the tournament. Devin place 3rd, John Maupin 5th, Jeremy Scurlock 7th, and Cade Foxworth 17th.
